So nice to meet you!

I’m Camille Latture (La-Tour), LCSW-C, psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and owner of Affirm + Empower.

Does it ever feel like no matter how hard you're working, you are still failing to meet somebody's expectations (maybe your own)? Or that while your plate is constantly overflowing, you keep saying "yes" in order to avoid uncomfortable conversations or upsetting others? Do you find your feelings shifting between exhaustion, anxiety, guilt, numbness? Or are you feeling like between work, parenting, the mental load, big life changes, or other identity issues, you don’t quite know who you are anymore, or how to take care of this version of yourself? And through all of this, do you notice you’re being incredibly self-critical, feeling like you are constantly doing or saying the wrong thing?

If any of this sounds like you, I’m here to help!

I’m a therapist who loves helping women, femmes, + afab folks (including teens!) who are dealing with issues of anxiety, OCD, burnout, people pleasing, perfectionism, coping with change, and identity. I bring to this work not only specialized training in these areas, but also lived experience as a fellow anxious and OCD girlie myself. When anxiety and its various manifestations are at their peak, it can feel like they are running the show. I’m here to help validate, brainstorm, reframe, and make changes so that you can show yourself some compassion and start (or get back to) living a life aligned with your values!

The Vibe I Bring to Therapy

As a therapist, I bring a warm, relaxed vibe and a sense of humor to sessions. While I have the training and credentials, I do not position myself as an authority in our work together—you are the expert on your experiences, and I have just as much to learn from you as you do from me. Our work together will be customized to your individual needs and concerns at the present moment. I consider our relationship as client and therapist, and the safety and trust built between us, to be the most important part of our work together.

If you’re looking for a laid-back therapist who doesn’t take herself too seriously, who will gently challenge you to set boundaries, prioritize yourself, and make those changes you’ve been contemplating, send me a message or schedule a free consultation! I would be honored to engage in this work with you.

Outside of Session…

I’m usually with my husband, our 2.5 year-old daughter, and our pomeranian-chihuahua mix, Kyle. I’m a pretty major homebody and hobbyist, so I love spending my free time crafting (I love embroidery, collage, and bullet journaling—I want to try air dry clay next!), playing cozy games, reading, and watching my silly little tv shows (almost always Reality TV). I love to sit at a coffee shop with an iced matcha and a little treat, or go thrifting with my friends.
